Does anyone know of any Texas colleges offering a Master's degree in human resource management

Does anyone know of any Texas colleges offering a Master's degree in human resource management?
I've tried to find them through google but can only find online colleges. I need an actual brick and mortar institution, preferably in Houston. I did find that Texas A&M offers this degree but I know nothing about the school so if you know anything about it, feel free to include it in your answer. Please don't give any answers saying things like "use search engine this" or use this resource - I need specific names of schools that have this degree available. This is a serious inquiry. Thanks in advance.

University of Houston--Clear Lake has a graduate program in Human Resources Management Otherwise, within 100 miles of Houston, it is either TxA&M or Sam Houston State in Huntsville. Lots of smart people in Clear Lake - definitely worth checking out

Human Resource Management (HRM) should never be a driver in determining business strategy, but a case could be made that HR policies or constraints could hinder strategy, but only long enough to change the HR policy. Suppose HR has a policy to only hire applicants who are college graduates (they are an engineering firm). Management decides to embark on a new strategy of constructing some of the units they have designed. The HR policy would work for the construction manager, but not for the welders, pipefitters, electricians, painters, insulators, etc. that they wold need to complete such projects.

What are the major differences between business administration and human resource management

What are the major differences between business administration and human resource management?
I know that I want to be in the management area and would like to work with hiring, termination, employee satisfaction, employee compensation, etc. Which area would be better to choose to major in. What are the major differences in these two degrees?

Business administration is a generalist degree covering a wide variety of business related areas. HRM focuses of people management issues - which include4s the area you mentioned. I would do an undergrad in business administration and post grad in the specialist area that appeals to you - which may be HRM - or you may have changed you mind by that time. Thanks Bill

You could try and find someone within your family who knows of human resource managers. If that doesn't work, then you could go to and visit a college or career fair. You could go to career advising to get information about human resource management. Its funny you ask this question I was actually just talking to an advisor today about switching my major to that! :-)
