HR functions are being outsourced nowadays. Some companies just have a clerk in that department. The trend is leaning towards team management and generalists. I hope this helps. Peace and every blessing!

i have already answered a similar question, and earned 5 stars and best answer chosen by the asker. My answer was: The recent changes have been * Human Resource Management has proven to be the science about goods and products, of producing and selling them, of which some part of work is performed by the Humans * Technology has taken over many manual jobs, so the HR Manager needs to prove that the particular task can be more economically performed by machines or humans ! * Human Resource has been recognized as being embedded with the core competency * HR has shifted to being a business partner, rather than being a service department
