** I am planning to attend UC DAVIS but the school does not offer a major in HR. therefore, i was wondering what alternative major will lead me into the HR path? i am planning on taking Poltical science: public service and minoring in communication OR international relations. any suggestions please?

I would say Business with Psychology or vice-versa.

You should get a business degree with a major in Management. This is the closest you can get to an actual HR degree. There will probably be several HR related classes you can take as electives. Check the management major course list. You shouldn't major in any of those majors you listed if you want to work HR. HR is business, those aren't business degrees.
